LET’S MAKE A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER

GREAT PLAINS FOOD BANK

We’ll be holding a FOOD DRIVE at the Goddess Gala 2025 if you wish to help end hunger together. Although cash donations are the easiest and most efficient way to donate, we appreciate each and every food donation as well. Our most needed items are:

  • Soup
  • Stew
  • Chili
  • Peanut Butter
  • Canned Meat Products
  • Cereal
  • Pancake Mix
  • Tomato Based Products
  • Boxed Meals
  • Canned Fruits and Vegetables
  • Pasta
  • Rice and Instant Potatoes
  • Personal Hygiene Products
  • Paper Products
  • Cleaning Supplies

There are some rules and recommendations about donating non-perishable food that we ask you to follow. We accept all non-perishable (not frozen or refrigerated), sealed, unexpired food.  We accept unopened toiletries (shampoo, soap, shaving cream, etc.) that should be kept separate from any food donation. We prefer non-glass containers for the safety of our volunteers. We have some tolerance for expired foods but they must be no more than 3 months past expiration. We cannot accept baby food from a food drive.

STYLED WITH STRENGTH

The Styled with Strength Foundation is a local non-profit within Fargo/Moorhead that works to stand in the gap in the way women seek safety & begin to heal following domestic violence. Located in West Fargo, our pop-up boutique serves as a low barrier way for someone to seek resources for themselves or a loved one, in an honoring & authentic environment.

Our services are centered around 3 pillars:

  • Education
  • Advocacy
  • Outreach

Every woman’s experience & healing is unique, which is why our services meet & support in the areas they are needing most specifically. We help navigate: safety planning, housing, transportation, employment, co-parenting, overall wellness including: emotional, physical health, and establishing healthy relationships in the future.

Since launching in late 2023, we have served over 85 women locally and continue to bring the conversation of abuse & domestic violence to the forefront of every room within Fargo/Moorhead. We believe that all women should feel safe in our community, especially within their own homes.
